One gang square drawn 1/2" raised offset device rings are used to move a switch, outlet or plug to one side of the box away from obstacles present on the job, or for easier wiring access. They are commonly used on old boxes in walls that need offset device installation. They allow the installer to move devices “offset” in any direction. The covers flat surface is keyed to catch plaster or drywall mud.

Perfect solution to my problem. Shipped same day!
This simple but hard to find product allowed a switch to be completely out of a new tile backsplash. Without this product there would have been a lot of unnecessary wiring.

This worked exactly like I needed. I needed to move a light switch over just a tad to tile a backsplash, and this did the trick. I have no clue why these are not everywhere, but this one did the trick.

We had been looking in local stores for an offset outlet ring; all the ones we found were centered on the plate. We needed that extra offset space and finally resorted to the internet to see if someone carried these. Garvin offset rings were exactly what we wanted and did the job. We are so glad to have found the Garvin web site.
