Application:
These expansive, screw anchors are used in
walls to provide a threaded wall insert for mounting various
boxes, hangers and straps. They are not to be used in
ceilings. Lead anchor set tools are used to forcibly strike
threaded anchors and set them in pre-drilled holes. Striking
the anchors causes them to expand, securely wedging them
in walls. When bolts and screws are inserted they further
expand the anchors, providing a sturdy, secure fastening
point on solid walls.
