Garvin Industries Dual Power boxes are used when a power outlet and a low voltage device need to be installed in the same box. These boxes are 2-1/2" deep and offer a steel divider shield that separates the line power from the low voltage power. This steel shield prevents interference that may be caused by the power device. Dual Power Boxes have combination 1/2" & 3/4" concentric knockouts on the power side and open, insulated wire access ports on the low voltage side. These boxes may be purchased with or without a flat vertical mounting bracket for new construction, or old work clips and ears for adding devices to existing walls.
